Vietnam: Greater Saigon

Hoh Chi Minh City is the biggest city in Vietnam. About 7 Million people live there. They make the city to a very dynamic industrious centre with a very high economic growth per year. The whole life takes place in the streets of Saigon. The streets are full packed with shops, restaurants, stalls and a lot of people. The city churns and fumes. There´s only one real thing, that rules in the city, and that´s the Dollar.
Arriving at the airport, a lot of travellers are suprised about the short trip to the center of the city, it´s only 7 Km from the airport. On the way the traveller will see a lot of bicycles and motorbikes, and a lot of french-orientated bars and restaurants. Mabey Saigon is the city with the greatest numbers of cafes in Asia. A lot of buildings are remains of the colonialism too.
But the traffic will remember the traveller that it´s still Asia. If you need half an hour to cross a street, you will know: it´s only Asia, but I like it.
